KFO - Site Requirements

In order to view KFO you should be using a modern browser with support for cookies, javascript and good support for CSS style sheets.

Safari, Opera or Firefox, all free, are highly recommended. KFO includes full support for Internet Explorer 6 but layout glitches may arise as the browser is now grossly out of date in terms of Web 2.0 technologies.

In order to vote for nominees KFO JavaScript MUST be enabled. This may be an issue for some but was a necessary measure that helps prevent automated bots and spiders and also controls the on-screen display for the KFOOT (KFO Official Time) mechanism.

The following features and functions also require javascript:

• Registration
• Optimising page layout
• Hiding inline banner advertisements
• Voting for any nominee
• Generating and sending a new password (should you forget it)
• Real-time AJAX searching
• The displaying of tooltips (hovering mouse-over captions)

So you see, javascript is pretty much necessary. Go on, turn it on and spoil yourself.
